Getting Organised in Lightroom
Every Image at Your Fingertips
Digital photography is so immediate and with digital storage becoming so cheap that it doesn’t take long to accrue a photo collection that numbers in the tens of thousands. Hundreds of images can sit there on your hard drive, many without adequate information for easy retrieval, enjoyment or even for the benefit of future generations. I can teach you how to organise your collection in Lightroom using a combination of IPTC metadata, keywords, ratings, folders, collections and smart collections.
If you have a large collection of photos, it can be daunting and appear to be an insurmountable task to get it organised, much like not knowing where to start tidying a cluttered home. But with this system you’ll learn effective ways to de-clutter your photo collection and keep your collection organised as you import new photos. You’ll be able call up your best photos with ease and get the most out of them. You’ll even be able to tag your family, friends and pets to instantly access those memories.
Getting organised in Adobe is just one of the aspects of my photography tuition and coaching. Why not get in touch to see how I can help you?
