Of the thousands of photos I have taken over the last four years, without a doubt, my favourite shot is this group photo of Brighton and Hove (Actually) Gay Men’s Chorus.

Why I Don’t Do Selective Colour

I was once asked by a portrait client if I could make a print they wanted to purchase black & white and only leave part of the clothing in colour.  This is a well known technique, often referred to as selective colourcolour popping or spot colour. I received a lot of flak while discussing the situation with a friend when I told him I replied to the client politely declining the request. He said I was being a snob. But this is why I declined:
